1. Discovery

Our team will come on location to assess your network, while there we will document the technical and business requirements of the customer. From these discovery interview sessions, HDCS will generate a formal design plan including a project plan. The project plan will accommodate customer-mandated scheduling to minimized downtime as well as identify significant milestones in the project timeline.

2. Design

Each customer is assigned a team lead and network engineer to handle your contract. These teams will design a detailed scope of work that will be handed to the customers’ decision-making point of contact. This proposal will be presented formally and explained in detail to you, the customer, to accept or adjust any of the designs features or milestones before moving onto the testing and implementation stages.

3. Testing

Many businesses run a number of third-party applications and custom software with a host of databases and unseen shared functionality. These are problems that if not fully tested before deployment can cause unneeded downtime. HDCS will work closely with third-party product vendors and their support staff, to make sure all details are met from the discovery and design phases. This step is crucial to help determine any changes that may need to take place with the scope of work. Once everything has been tested and confirmed we move ahead with the integration phase.

4. Integration

To facilitate the success of the integration, all work is performed onsite at a convenient downtime for the customers business. Maintaining customer uptime means bringing your network down during off hours to assure you’ll be back up and ready next business day. During the actual integration/implementation phase we will migrate data and document changes to key steps that are relevant to day-to-day business needs.

5. Training

After a large customer upgrade, or new customer install, HDCS will have a technician onsite next business day to handle any questions and train users on new systems and/or equipment. Many clients of HDCS have multiple office locations or offsite work-from-home users; we will be onsite at their location or remotely support any issues they have during this phase. We provide free change-related support after large integrations. Any issues that arise that are the fault of HDCS will be recovered quickly and at no cost to the client.

6. Support

After proper training and customers’ network is stable we will provide remote and onsite support for your users and your network. There are many options available with monthly contracts being the most preferred by our customers. We also have, what we call, a “bucket of time” you can purchase. Buckets of time are simply blocks of time that you purchase upfront and our ticketing system handles the rest as you call in with issues. Or finally, we can do an hourly as-needed basis for smaller more tech-savvy small businesses.
